Question:
What is the security level of the website? How safe is it to order
from Executool? |
Executool uses Setcom as the payment gateway. Setcom
is registered with Thawte Internet Security that has the correct, legal and
valid SSL Certification. Executool does not handle any money directly.
Setcom check the card transaction for fraud and validity. The funds are then
transferred from Setcom into a Suspense Account. Executool then draws their
funds from this account on a weekly basis.

Kindly note that Setcom can only process Visa and MasterCard Credit Cards in four different currencies.
Question:
Your prices - Do you charge VAT? |
- If you registered on our website as a South African customer, the
website automatically charges 14% Value Added Tax payable to the South
African Revenue Service. The price that you see on our website, included 14%
VAT.
- If you registered as a foreign customer, the website does not
charge VAT and calculates the shipping differently. If you log in on our
website, you will see prices without the VAT.

What does POA mean where the price
is displayed? |
- Price On Application.
- Some tools have other optional extras that needs to be confirmed before
we can quote an accurate price.
- There items that we are able to supply that is not stock items. These we
can only quote on once we confirmed stock and delivery times with the
supplier.
- Please note that an POA item cannot be purchased through our website.

What if I want to pay less for
shipping? |
Our website
automatically calculates the shipping cost according to shipping weight
(Volumetric Weight) as per the courier service rates. You may call us for a
fresh quote where we will quote the prices of your items that you wish to
order as well as phone up the courier service and negotiate a shipping rate
for your specific parcel. You will then have to pay the quote by Internet
transfer. Our banking details are on the Quotation Document that we will
email or fax back to you. Once the funds reflect on our bank statement, we
will immediately courier you parcel and include the original Invoice with
the parcel. We cannot handle Credit Card payments over the telephone.
It is
not safe and secure. Setcom can verify your identity.

What is the quickest and most cost
effective method of shipping? |
- Speed Services - Over-Night to your nearest Post Office counter it the
cheapest and quick for small parcels. We prefer sending it to your door by
Berco Express couriers. Please ask for this option to receive your order
without any effort on your side.
- For heavier items we use PostNET Courier, Berco Express or TNT Global
Express
- We also have accounts with Berco Express, EWC Express and TNT Express.
We will always get you three quotes to choose from.
- For deliveries to your door, we ship by Berco Express and PostNET
Courier.

Question:
Which payment options are
available? |
Payments by Cheque Executool does not except Cheque payments. We experienced too many
instances of fraud by cheque payments and decided not to accept this form of
payment. Should you insist payment by cheque, a waiting period is required for clearance of the funds. Shipping will only commence after
funds are cleared by our bank. The bank has to verify if the cheque was stolen
or not.
Internet Banking or Bank Transfers
If you prefer paying by bank transfer (internet Banking), we will ship
immediately after the funds are cleared in our bank. Usually it takes a maximum
of two (2) days. Most transactions are cleared by the next day. We encourage
this type of payment. We might call you to confirm the transaction for your
security. In some cases we might even ship your items for free (depending on
item status), as we save on commissions payable.
Credit Card Payments
A: Online orders When ordering online, you can pay by MasterCard or
Visa through Setcom. Setcom is a Payment Module built into the website.
Setcom is a company that handle the payment, They check for fraud and
availability of funds and protects both the customer and Executool.
B: Payment over the telephone Executool does not accept credit card payment over the
telephone. This is to protect you as our customer. We do have a credit card
facility inside our store and we can only process card payment when the
customer is present.
Payment by cash The bank charges us a cash deposit fee when paying by
cash. We will add the value of the cash deposit fee to your invoice. On most
transactions the fee is about R30,00.
